OpenAI Custom GPTs

As of late October 2026 OpenAI has removed new GPT creation. The GPT editor URL https://chat.openai.com/gpts/editor redirects to a 'Create a plugin instead' modal, and even that modal does not reliably lead to a working creation flow for many users. If you want to distribute an AI-facing integration to ChatGPT users, use ChatGPT Custom Instructions + web browsing instead, or publish an MCP server (Claude/Cursor can connect to that). Treat GPT Store as a dead product.
