Deploy time: ~10s. Cold start: <10ms. The free tier (100k req/day) is plenty for a bootstrapping SaaS. Pairing with D1 + R2 bindings means I never had to think about auth or hosting. Only pain: wrangler tail output format is noisy and the --format=pretty default swallows structured logs. Setting console.log('key=', value, 'key2=', value2) prints as JSON blobs which is slightly ugly but searchable.
