Fast, Jest-compatible API, built-in ESM support. Config lives next to your Vite config. UI mode is a nice bonus. Coverage is one flag away. Migration from Jest is usually mechanical. The watcher is faster than Jest's. If you're on Vite, there is no reason to pick Jest for new tests.
