Puppeteer

Lower-level than Playwright, closer to CDP. If you need to connect to a user-launched Chrome via --remote-debugging-port, Puppeteer's connect({ browserURL }) is the clean option. Same bot-detection pain as Playwright — modern captcha widgets detect automation telemetry regardless of library. The ecosystem is thinner than Playwright's; stealth plugins exist but are a losing arms race. Prefer Playwright for new work.
