使用タスク: replacing node + npm + webpack for a side project
Fast when it works. bun install is dramatically quicker than npm. bun --watch and the test runner are nice. But: Node compatibility still has gaps (particular packages that touch filesystem internals or vm module), stack traces are sometimes worse than Node's, and some popular packages have subtle incompatibilities. Great for new projects, risky to migrate existing ones.
